Broken Sword 1: Director's Cut App Reviews

Well I just started playing this game and Im already stuck. Tried using the hints but those have not worked. I cant solve the two puzzles to unlock the gate in the area where the boat is. Prior to that I was finding the game mildly interesting. Right now Im feeling like I wasted my money. Because there was only one other review I was skeptical. Should have paid attention to my instinct.

If you are looking for a awesome game to play buy this. Every cent I spent on it was worth it. Such a cool murder mystery. Buy this game.

Simply the best version of one of the best point-and-click games out there. iOS gaming doesnt get much better than this. Enjoy the game!

Game appears to hang on one puzzle. Specifically, the bible verse highlighting puzzle. Otherwise, love it.

The Broken Sword adventure games rank among the best in the genre, and compare favorably to favorites such as Sierras Kings Quest or LucasArts Monkey Island series. The iOS version is beautifully remastered for mobile devices and fully voiced. A must have for adventure game fans and anyone who appreciates an artfully-told story.

Felt like a I was playing a 70s or 80s adventure cartoon movie with the way the audio sounded and the cartoons art style looks like something from "The Hobbit" era. Many hours of gameplay involved. I am blown away. I wish part 3 and 4 were also added to iOS. Getting part 2 and 5 now.

Sometimes things take awhile to work even after doing it many times the same thing (bugs? Or Im not doing them right?!) but other than that its kinda fun when Im not stuck. So exciting when it does work haahah oh but I would take out the jigsaw puzzle (or at least cheat for it)--too hard.
